Great IM 6 rods!

These are excellent and check all boxes for me. Lightweight, no obnoxious color, hook keeper placed forward of the reel for kayak flush mount holder compatibility, 2 piece, extra tip, upgraded cork handle. Bought a Med Fast and a Med Heavy fast, both 7 foot.

The recommendations for KastKing:

Expand this line with the same options you have on the Spartacus 2. Additional length and power options. Really want a longer rod for further casting, my only real option is the S2 Heavy 7' 10".

You have a S2+ rod, and an S2+ reel. But no S2+ combo. Why not? You have the defender series, which looks great and is IM 7, but the reel, although it appears to have the same upgraded magnetic brake from the S2, is 7.2:1 instead of the 8:1 on the S2+. The Black on Black S2+ combo would sell like fire, it's an awesome setup, you just have to buy it separately.

The hook keeper is excellent. It should be standard on ALL your rods. Please stop putting hook keepers behind the reel. You can't use them when in a rod holder, and for those of us that do the hand swap, it's in the way. As soon as I see a hook keeper placed there, the rod is a No Go for me.

To the gentleman that complained of a tip breakage, that is obviously a manufacturing defect, or you left something out. I'm sure if you contact KK they'll make it right. I caught a 2 lb bass yesterday on my M-F and it took the tip into the water from my yak. No issues.

I’ve been using this with my Mg-Ti reel and love it! It’s checks multiple boxes for me with the power/action, hook keeper location, cork handle, and the design itself. It looks great and casts great, and the price is awesome.
