Kestrel SE Bait Finesse Baitcaster Rod and Reel Combo

The Kestrel Med/Lt BFS system matches perfectly with my new Angry-Sturgeon lure design, which was a bit much for spinning ultralight and not enough for most baitcasters. Loving the setup so far!

I used 4lb test mono on the reel and so far so good. With the 6'8" ultralight rod combo is a blast. I hooked into many trout on the white river and I have to say that the 16 inch rainbow was very fun. I say if you love light action, this is recommended from this old man.

Very smooth

I've had a tray of ultralight baits sitting at the bottom of my tackle bag. I used to throw them with an old, unbranded spinning rod. This new combo gives more control and longer casts than my spinner.
This might just turn out to be my best summer fishing.

This is the best reel that I have ever had and with my other bait caster I hat that I can't cast small lures far. You need to get this now
