*KastKing customer service professionals will determine the cause of the defect and whether it will be covered under this warranty or not.

RodMaker Magazine). It’s usually not difficult to determine why a fishing rod unfortunately broke and this is a fantastic analysis discussing the differences between damaged and defective rod failures.
*If the damage or defect is determined to have been caused due to a defect in materials or workmanship, KastKing will, at the company’s discretion, either repair or replace the rod at no charge. A shipping and handling fee of $20 will be charged to complete the transaction.
*If the damage is determined to have been caused by accident, neglect or normal wear and tear, KastKing with your approval and request, will replace the damaged rod for a fee of 1/2 of the original purchase price plus the $20 shipping and handling fee.
